This red wine is made from carefully hand-harvested grapes of the indigenous Touriga Nacional variety from the Dão region. After manual grape selection and destemming, a pre-fermentation maceration in stainless steel tanks and large wooden vats was carried out for about 20 days at controlled temperature. The wine then underwent malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and matured for 18 months to enhance structure and complexity.

It presents a dark concentrated purplish-garnet colour. On the nose, expect elegant aromas of ripe plums, blackberries and subtle citrus-bergamot hints, complemented by fine balsamic wood. On the palate the texture is dense yet refined, with silky tannins delivering depth and elegance, culminating in a long, polished finish.
