1. OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Portuguesicis (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered in Portugal. By accessing our
website or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please
read them carefully before using our services. Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides
the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you.

2. Our Service
Portuguesicis sells gourmet food and related products online. All prices are shown in euros and include
VAT where applicable. Images and descriptions are for illustration purposes and minor variations may
occur due to artisanal or seasonal differences.

3. Orders and Payments
When you place an order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email acknowledging that we have
received your order. This confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance. Your order is accepted once
payment is successfully processed and shipment is confirmed. We accept payments by Apple Pay,
Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa, and PayPal. All transactions are processed securely through our payment
partners using industry-standard encryption. Your card details are never stored on our servers. We
reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud, incorrect information, or a pricing error.
If a payment is taken for a cancelled order, it will be refunded immediately to the original payment method.

4. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped through DPD, DHL, or equivalent courier services. Delivery times vary depending on
your location and will be indicated at checkout. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an
email with tracking details. International customers, including those in the United Kingdom or Dubai, are
responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import restrictions applicable in their country.

5. Returns and Right of Withdrawal
Under European and Portuguese consumer law, customers generally have the right to withdraw from an
online purchase within fourteen days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. However, this right
does not apply to food products that are perishable, have a short shelf life, or are sealed for hygiene
reasons and have been unsealed after delivery. Because the majority of our gourmet items are perishable,
most purchases made through this website are not eligible for return or refund once shipped, except in
cases of a proven defect, damage during transport, or an error on our part. For non-perishable
merchandise where the withdrawal right applies, you may request a return through our Contact Us page
within fourteen days of delivery. Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original
packaging. Refunds, when applicable, are issued within fourteen days after we receive and verify the

6. Product Availability and Pricing
We make every effort to keep stock levels and product information accurate, but availability may change
without notice. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will inform you and offer a
refund or suitable replacement. Prices may change at any time without prior notice. If a pricing error
occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photographs, recipes, trademarks, and the Portuguesicis brand
identity, is the exclusive property of Portuguesicis. It may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for
commercial purposes without prior written consent.

8. User Conduct
You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or to upload any harmful or offensive material. We
may suspend or terminate your access if we detect misuse or abuse of the site or its systems

cannot be held responsible for delivery delays, courier errors, customs issues, or circumstances beyond
our control. We are not liable for allergic reactions, misuse of products, or indirect losses such as loss of
profit or data. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Portuguese and European
consumer law.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. In the event of a dispute, you may
seek assistance from the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo or submit your complaint
through the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at
