Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima Grande Reserve 2015

This red wine is crafted from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira and Bastardo, grown on schist soils with south‑facing exposure in the Trás‑os‑Montes region of Portugal. Hand‑harvested grapes are fermented and matured with an ageing period of approximately 12 months in French and American oak barrels, imparting structure, depth and elegance. On the nose it displays complex aromas of mature black fruits, spice and licorice; on the palate it is rich and concentrated, with fine tannins, a long persistent finish and elegant maturity from its age.

Store bottles lying down in a cool, dry place out of direct light and temperature fluctuations. This vintage from 2015 is built for ageing and may now be showing more developed tertiary notes a wonderful opportunity for enjoying a wine with maturity.
