This thick-cut chouriço is made from select cuts of black pork, leg, belly, shoulder and neck, combined with its rich fat, seasoned only with garlic, salt and natural spices, without paprika. Slowly smoked over holm-oak wood, it delivers a delicate, authentic taste with a soft marbled texture and gentle smokiness that lets the natural richness of black pork shine through.

Origin

Portugal. Alentejo region, handcrafted  using traditional smoking methods.

Ingredients

Black-pig meat (leg, belly, shoulder, neck) and fat, garlic, salt, preservative, antioxidant, natural pork casing, smoked over holm-oak wood.

Serving Suggestions

Serve thinly sliced as a fine charcuterie item, or gently warmed to enhance its smoky aroma. Perfect with rustic Alentejo bread, aged cheese, or in traditional Portuguese dishes where the pure taste of black pork is desired.

Storage

Keep in a cool, dry place. Once opened, wrap and refrigerate; consume within a few days for best flavour and texture.
