This red wine is crafted from 100 % of the Jaen grape variety, grown in the Silgueiros sub-region (350-400 m altitude) of the Dão Valley, Portugal.  Hand-harvested grapes and an 18-month ageing period in French oak barrels lend structure, depth and elegance.
On the nose it displays exuberant red fruit aromas—raspberry, floral and resinous notes typical of Jaen. On the palate it is harmonious, sensual, with polished tannins and a satisfying finish.
